King of Surf Náklo 2024
Friday 23.8. - Sunday 25.8.
Fifth annual race for the king and queen of wakesurfing. Come show how you master your skills on the endless wave behind the boat.
The race starts with SKIM and SURF category qualifying heats on Friday, August 23, 10:30 am - 7:00 pm and Saturday, 8:30 am - 11:00 am.
We are now opening the KIDS category for children up to 15 years old. The KIDS category rides will run in conjunction with the final rides on Saturday.
8:30 - 10:00 is the registration and payment of the entry fee (1000 CZK / 40 EUR per rider/race, or discounted entry fee for KIDS category 500 CZK / 20 EUR).
You can register for 4 categories: KIDS, SKIM, SURF, LONGBOARD.

Boats start with 4-6 competitors. Exact info on who starts and when will be posted on the board and will be updated throughout the day.

8:30 - Last minute SKIM qualifying runs
10:00 - Last minute qualifying runs SURF
12:00 - Final SKIM heats
15:00 - Final SURF and KIDS rides
20:30 - Winners of KIDS, SKIM and SURF races announced and then a terrible party
PARTY and MUSIC runs throughout the day.

9:00 - 9:45 - start of registration ( LONGBOARD )
10:00 - start of the LONGBOARD race
15:00 - 17:00 - estimation of final runs - depending on qualification and number of entries
18:00 - announcement of the LONGBOARD winners
Categories
There will be 4 Categories:
KIDS - mix of genders and boards.
SKIM STYLE - man/woman - boards up to 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick with fins less than 3 inches (7.5 cm).
SURF STYLE - man/woman - a board greater than 1 inch (2.5 cm) thick with at least 2 fins greater than 3 inches (7.5 cm).
LONGBOARD - mixed - Singlefin board longer than 6 feet with fins larger than 6 inches
Rules
Each rider will ride 2. laps , each 1,5 minutes + three crash system. We send 4-6 riders from each category to the finals, depending on the total number of entries in that category.
